from 5 reviewsAll my daughter, Isla, talks about is the little blue dragon.

My kids (ages 7, 6, and 4) absolutely loved this book! We read it together at bedtime, and they were instantly hooked on Zobie, the lovable blue dragon with the big red heart. The story kept them engaged from start to finish, with lots of giggles—especially when the bees appeared (the girls are hilariously afraid of bees for some odd reason). It’s a sweet, fun adventure with just the right mix of heart and humor. All three of my girls are already asking what adventures Zobie will get into next time!

Loved all the art work throughout the story. The story was enjoyable and am waiting for the next book.

“The Dragon Who Learned How to Drive” is a delightful, imaginary tale for all children. Zobie, the pet dragon, comes alive as Maddie’s friend, and the friendship develops in her dreams. Children like to pretend they have a special friend and in this first book, Maddie’s special friend, Zobie, learns to drive.
The short tale is written with knowledgeable vocabulary, colorful illustrations and pages of insightful interactions between child and reader. I would recommend this book to parents and teachers to enjoy with their children or in classrooms. There will be more books in this series and multimedia resources with Zobie.

Every kid wants an imaginary friend who loves them as they are, especially children with special needs. The Dragon Who Learned How to Drive delivers Zobie. Lovable, blue, with a big heart for all kids, Zobie becomes real in a young girl's dream. Self-reliant Maddie keeps him real, believing in his magic. They share adventurous spirits. With charming illustrations, this is the first of their stories. Recommended for early readers.
