Caregivers, YOU are the bedrock in the lives of children with special needs and disabilities who depend on you daily. You are the all-too-often unsung heroines and heroes in the lives of real kids around the world, children represented by Zobie’s Kids. Zobie’s Kids are imagined children designed to help real ones, like those in your care.

Zobie’s Kids stories are entertaining and heartwarming adventures told by story-maker Maddie. She is the girl who dreamed Zobie, her lovable pet dragon, to life in their first  book, The Dragon Who Learned How to Drive. Together they help children with special needs learn new skills, achieve goals, and enjoy the good feelings success brings.

Like you, Zobie has a heart for helping kids, but in the real world, community settings can be unkind to children who are “different.” Caregivers face a daunting task.

Make Zobie your assistant in showing that “different” does not mean “less than.” We work to help the special needs community be successful. Check back often for more creative, easy-to-implement strategies and resources – designed with you and kids in your care in mind.
